John Lennon - Oh Yoko !
D'un extrême à l'autre, voici à présent le Lennon romantique de retour. Dans cette chanson - toujours sur l'album Imagine - il crie - littéralement - son amour pour Yoko.
Toutefois la chanson joue sur un double registre car la première mouture était moins lègère mais beaucoup plus angoissée... "au milieu de la nuit je crie ton nom" peut ainsi s'entendre des deux manières. Et toute la chanson joue sur ce contrastre entre la passion et l'angoisse.
Chose rare, on retrouve l'harmonica des débuts des Beatles qui vient donner une petite touche folk supplémentaire à la chanson...
